Question 1
What are you driving?
Year, make and model. This is what puts your car on the screen.
Question 2
Paint color and finish
Soft black clears and matte finishes are a different job than white metallic.

Tap your closest color

Question 3
Where does it sleep at night?
Sap, sun and bird etching set your maintenance interval.
Question 4
Miles a year, and how it's driven
Highway miles mean rock chips, which means film instead of coating.
12,000 mi
Question 5
How long are you keeping it?
If you're selling soon we'll tell you to spend less, not more.
Last step
Where should your five-year number go?
Your numbers appear on this screen the second you tap. The email is so you keep them.

repair and upkeep over the same five years
  • Two scheduled maintenance visits a year — decontamination, coating top-up, edge check
  • Annual re-inspection with fresh clear-coat readings
  • Chip and edge-lift repair caught early, while it's still small
  • A paint file with readings, photos and dates — yours, and it goes with the car

Repair and upkeep only. The protection itself gets quoted after we measure your paint — we don't price paint we haven't looked at.

The gap between those two columns is $0

One hour with the car. Six clear-coat thickness readings, swirl and chip density photographed under controlled light, contamination check, and a written protection map with dated intervals and the exact products for your paint. Credited against protection work if you go ahead.

Built from SPS Auto Care’s own correction, chip-repair and respray pricing plus the paint deduction at trade-in — not a national average. It is an estimate, and we show you the working.

“Is this just a sales tool?”

The numbers come from SPS Auto Care’s own repair and correction pricing, line by line. If your number comes back low, we tell you to wait.

“Do I have to buy something?”

No. The forecast is free and it is yours whether you ever book anything.

Three bills create the gap. All three are on a clock.

Failure 01

Swirl, etch and wash marring

Every wash puts fine scratches into unprotected clear coat, and bird acid etches craters into it. Two years in it reads as dull in daylight, and the fix removes clear coat you never get back.

$450 – $1,600 a correction
Failure 02

Hood chips and bird-etch respray

UV, road film and salt take the flattest panel first. Once the clear has chalked or been etched through, there is no polishing it back — the hood gets sanded, resprayed and blended.

$700 – $1,400
Failure 03

Rock chips and edge lift

Highway speed turns grit into projectiles. A chip is cosmetic on day one and a rust bloom by the second New England winter, once salt gets under the edge.

$250 – $600 a round
